ZimCal Responds to Personal Attacks by Medallion Financial Corp. and Issues Cease and Desist

ZimCal issued a release responding to statements in Medallion Financial Corp.’s May 13, 2024 solicitation material that ZimCal asserted were false and defamatory. Medallion made the statements during ZimCal’s 2024 proxy campaign to elect two directors it had nominated to Medallion’s board. The release states that counsel to ZimCal had sent a cease and desist letter to counsel for Medallion demanding that the statements cease and be corrected.
